Development Support for Research Projects
Individual solutions are required in research projects. A university institute was faced with the task of redesigning a prototype transformer. PACK LitzWire offered technical support and used the LiWiCalc® tool, which is specifically matched to the litz wires we produce in-house.
The research project required a redesign of a transformer with special frequency and power parameters. Many parameters were only determined during the experiment, which is why a precise simulation was necessary. Traditional rules of thumb were not enough here to reliably predict losses and field effects in the prototype.
